If you are interested in a custom order, all orders require a MINIMUM of 2 weeks notice (pending current availability). Sending an inquiry or contact form does not guarantee an order.

Deposits/Cancellations: All custom orders require a 50% deposit to secure your date. All deposits are NONREFUNDABLE. If a cancellation occurs, orders may be transferred to a later date (pending availability) but will not be refunded.

Base Option Cupcakes come plainly iced. Some buttercream flavors can be colored to match your theme/event. Sprinkle options available. One dozen ordering minimum; one flavor per dozen.

Tell us a little bit about the theme for your event, your color scheme, special words/numbers/phrases you’d like incorporated, and any other inspiration you’d like to share that will better assist us with the design process. There’s no such thing as too much detail!

Terms & Conditions

1. By choosing Cakes by Design to create your custom order, you are giving us FULL creative freedom to use our artistic ability and our own style based off of the inspiration photos provided to us. All of our work is 100% custom designed. We do not like to copy another artist's work, but simply use it as inspiration. Other examples of inspiration photos we love to receive: your invitation, decorations, mood boards, color palettes, clothing, etc.

2. Frosting/icing colors may vary. We do our best to match colors as closely as possible, but colors can alter for reasons beyond our control and may vary from inspiration photos/invitations/color swatches, etc.

3. All custom orders require a 50% NONREFUNDABLE deposit to secure the order. Deposits must be made no less than 14 days prior to pick-up once we confirm your order. Orders are NOT confirmed or booked until the deposit has been made.

4. Any changes to your order are subject to availability and must be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to pick-up and may incur additional charges.

5. We do not offer refunds of any kind for cancellations, postponed or rescheduled orders. Orders may be transferred to a later date pending availability but will not be refunded.

6. Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchange custom cakes, cake pops, cupcakes or cookies.

7. Once a cake has been picked up by you or a designated party it is considered “Accepted” and will not be eligible for a refund. Client assumes full liability and responsibility for the condition of the order once it leaves our shop. Refunds requested due to decorating style, color shade, or damages caused by any other person not employed by Cakes by Design will not be honored.

8. All of our products are made in a kitchen that uses gluten, dairy, nut and nut products. Although we take every precaution and sanitary measure to keep everything separate & clean in between uses, we cannot guarantee that products may be free of all traces. It is the responsibility of the client to inform guests of the possibility of traces.
